Rockhopper Farm grows a holistic ecosystem of food and medicine to nourish a healthy earth and human community. Using permaculture principles, sustainable, natural, and no till methods we work to be conscious stewards the land year round. Key focuses of our farming approach include monitoring soil health, natural methods of pest management, and maximizing nutritional profiles of our crops. Namaste.
Farm Owner/Operator and Lead Herbalist
I was named ‘Most Likely to Save the Rainforest’ as a senior in high school, and have rooted my life in love of the earth ever since. After spending a summer interning on several farms out near Delano, MN, I have gardened at every home in South Minneapolis over the last six years, and in recent years have delved into plant medicine and naturalist work as well. I look forward to meeting fellow farmers and local food newbies alike, and enjoy connecting people to each other and our beautiful natural landscape.
Farm Owner/Operator and Economist
My guiding principle: A master in the art of living knows no difference between work and play, to them they are always doing both. Farming is my way of being. This season I will focus on exploring the symbiosis of fungi and plants, soil mineralization, and producing hops.
